World Kidney day Study event

Location

Dr Kirsten Armstrong, Consultant Nephrologist & Becky Bonfield, AKI Lead ANP. Southampton United Kingdom

Date of event

8 March 2018
8:30am

This is set to be an exciting and informative day focused particularly on women’s health and kidneys. You will see that we have been fortunate enough to secure some fantastic speakers including our guest speaker, Dr Kate Wiles who is recognised internationally for her great work on renal disease in pregnancy, as well as celebrity sports presenter Charlie Webster who some of you my know was struck down by AKI during a 3000 mile charity bike ride in South America. We also are privileged to have a couple of inspirational young adults who have kindly agreed to come and talk about their experience of living with chronic kidney disease. We have been really lucky to secure funding for this event which means we can provide this day free of charge to 200 delegates. This will include refreshments, a light lunch and promotional items. We have also applied for CPD accreditation to reflect the high standard evidenced within our agenda. With more than 70% of the places already filled, I would encourage you and your colleagues to register ASAP if you wish to attend. Please contact becky.bonfield@uhs.nhs.uk or kirsten.armstrong@uhs.nhs.uk If you have any questions about the day please do not hesitate to email either of us via email on the links above
