The Philippine Society of Nephrology (PSN), together with and The World Kidney Day Organizing Committee (Makati Medical Center, Section of Nephrology) celebrate the Wold Kidney Day every 2nd Thursday. World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide. Below is a summary of activities planned by our section: 1. Poster Making Contest: Kidney Health for All 2. Water Challenge – As per World Kidney Day organization, they are inviting everyone to drink a glass of water and give one too to celebrate their kidneys. This is a symbolic gesture to remember that kidneys are vital organs and that they should be taken care of. 3. Alay Lakad ( Walkathon ) 4.
