#WorldKidneyDay | #KidneyHealthMatters

Who we are

A global campaign aimed
at raising awareness of the
importance of our kidneys

Our mission

World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.

About

World Kidney Day

World Kidney Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of our kidneys.

World Kidney Day returns every year. Across the globe, hundreds of events take place, from public screenings in Argentina to Zumba marathons in Malaysia. We do it all to raise awareness. Awareness about preventive behaviors, awareness about risk factors, and awareness about how to live with kidney disease. We do this because we want kidney health for all.

World Kidney Day is a joint initiative of the International Society of Nephrology  (ISN) and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations – World Kidney Alliance (IFKF-WKA).

Our objectives

The new

World Kidney Day

branding

After 19 years, we are giving the World Kidney Day (WKD) campaign a makeover, complete with a brand-new logo that embraces modern design and reflects our commitment to sustainability, a core value embraced by the kidney community.

The new logo offers flexibility, thanks to the standalone elements: the brackets, depicting both kidneys and two hemispheres of the globe.
