We are planning to launch a campaign at Sri Jayewardenepura Hospitial to join the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) to raise the awareness among the local community Healthy Lifestyle for Healthy Kidneys.
This includes,
1. Awareness campaign about our “amazing kidneys”
2. Free screening of participants for “kidney disease”
(Creatinine/ SE/UFR/ Renal USS)
3. Free blood sugar check.
4. Physical check up (BP/BMI/Waist circumference)
5. Diabetes specialised care clinic.
6. Kidney transplant awareness area.
7. Diseased donor awareness area and Volunteer registration.
8. Nutrition advice desk
9. Lectures on obesity and kidney disease.
10. Zumba demonstration and awareness campaign
11. Release of tri-lingual hand book on guide to kidney transplant.
12. Island wide awareness campaign in TV and newspapers in parellel to the world kidney day.
