Awareness programme conducted by Dr Sandeep Sreedharan (Nephrologist), Dr Ramesh Babu (Urologist), Dr Abhilash Antony (Urologist) and Dr VK Rajeevan ( Deputy Suit, Govt General Hospital, Thalassery). About 500 people participated. Pamphlets with educational materials were distributed to about 2500 houses, door to door campaigning by ‘Kaithang’, a voluntary organisation.
