s part of International community, we shall be celebrating the World Kidney Day in our Institute on March 13, 2014. On this day we are series of events planned as mentioned below:
1. Walkathon by volunteers from the PGI and public, starting from Lake Club towards the Sukhna Lake. Timing 7.00 to 9.00 am.
2. Public education and free medical checkup including BMI, blood sugar, urine examination, kidney function tests. Also information about Deceased Donor Transplantation and Organ donation motivation. Venue is New OPD. Time is 9.30 am to 2.0 pm
3. Public interactive sessions with expert talks on CKD, Diabetes and Hypertension, Renal replacement therapy options and deceased donor programme by PGI Faculty members. Venue is APC Auditorium, Advanced Pediaric Center, Time is 5 to 6.30 pm.
