World Kidney day awareness program was organized by the Department of Community Medicine, SSSMCRI -RHTC, Sembakkam on World Kidney day for general population in Sembakkam. This year theme-Kidney Health for All – Bridge the gap to better kidney care was explained to them and Awareness talk on the importance of Kidney Health, risk factors, prevention and importance of systematic screening of all patients with diabetes and hypertension for CKD and kidney transplantation (Organ donation) was explained by Medical Officer Dr.Ilavarasi and Medical Interns Dr.Mohamed Nihal, Dr.Nelofar and Dr.Manimala.
