World Kidney day was celebrated by organising World Kidney day at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital auditorium. All the Doctors and renal transplant recepients and donors were invited, especially the women. Renowned Indian playback singer Kavita Krishnamurti was invited as the chief guest. The Principal and Dean of the college, Dr. Medha Rao and President of the hospital, Dr. Naresh Shetty were also present. The women renal donors and recipients were felicitated on the stage. few cultural activities were also included by the dialysis unit staff. All this was followed by lunch.
