We organized an event to commemorate World Kidney on 10th March 2016. The event was organized in association with the local FM Radio where in we wanted to provide more awareness among the local crowd on how to protect our Kidney’s. We had organized an open vehicle having banners with health educational material on how to protect our kidneys. We ran this van for 5 days to various areas in the city like schools, colleges, shopping malls and government offices along with one of our Medical Officers and Nurses who conducted Kidney awareness lectures for the public along with the distribution of pamphlets. We kick started this project by doing a flag off along with the District Health Administration and a retired judge who himself had a Kidney Failure and spoke as an ambassador on the importance of protecting our kidney. We also organized a free check up with kidney function evaluations for patients on 13th March 2016.
