We plan to discuss kidney health in women this year. The event is planned to be held with contributions of physicians, nurses, patients, students in our faculty and any healthy people who wants to join us. Three subjects will be discussed. The first topic is ‘Hypertension in women’ and will be presented by Prof. Dr. Ramazan Ozdemir from the Cardiology Unit of our faculty. Then, approach to pregnant women will be discussed from both nephrology point of view by Dr. Ayse Serra Artan from the Nephrology unit of our faculty and gynecologic-obstetric point of view by Prof. Dr. Pakize Banu Kilicoglu Dane from Gynecology and Obstetrics unit of our unit. Lastly, Nurse Ozlem Duzgun will talk about nursing care of pregnant women with kidney disease.
