On the occasion of world kidney day 2015, a symposium for health professionals was held in Schaan, principality of Liechtenstein. The symposium covered the topics of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of chronic kidney disease as well as adaptions of drug dosing according to kidney function in patients with impaired kidney function. The symposium was attended by 200 participants and got media coverage in the country’s newspapers and TV-station. With this event Liechtenstein now has a continuity of nine years participation at activities of world kidney day.
