The Nephrology Student Group of the Medicine Faculty in the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, together with the Department of Nephrology of the Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González” presented a Symposium which consisted of 5 talks about Kidney Disease, taught by 5 Nephrology experts. 1- Kidney Disease Detection: What Every Doctor Should Know. Dr. Giovanna Yazmín Arteaga Müller 2- Diabetic Kidney Disease: Silent Pandemic. Dr. Mara Cecilia Olivo Gutiérrez 3- Transplant: Opportunity of Life. Dr. Allina Primavera Flores Mendoza 4- Urinary Sediment: A Tool Not Frequently Used. Dr. Mónica Sánchez Cárdenas 5- Current Stadistics of Kidney Disease in the Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González” The symposium had over 100 atendees.
