Ministry of Health of the Province, Society of Nephrology and Dialysis Facilities of Tucuman organize activities to promote kidney health. The Nephrology Department of Hospital Angel C. Padilla conducts a screening of risk factors for renal disease in general population on March 12 and 13, 2015. Clinical physicians will perform an interrogatory to investigate family history of kidney disease, Tobacco, Hypertension and Diabetes. Blood pressure, urine proteins by dip-stick and the following anthropometric measurements: weight, height, Body Mass Index, waist circumference, hip circumference and waist hip-ratio will be register. Finally, participants will be interviewed by nephrologists, who will give dietary advice oriented to risk factors and will refer high-risk patients to the Department of Nephrology.
