The educational program includes an overview of Kidney diseases, their types, pathophysiology, onset, symptoms and management from a nursing perspective. It sheds the light as well on the basics and principles of renal diets and how patients should be nutritionally approached and educated. Furthermore, the program addresses Chronic Kidney Diseases (CKD), dialysis and transplant as related to the nursing role and highlights the importance of nurses’ contribution to the success of renal programs
