On behalf of the OSMH – Regional Kidney Care Program Simcoe Muskoka, we want to acknowledge World Kidney Day today (Thursday, March 10, 2016). To mark this special occasion, we are inviting patients, their family members, and staff to join us for a short walk at noon. In Orillia, we’ll be meeting at the main entrance to the hospital. In Huntsville, Penetang, Collingwood, Alliston, Barrie, or any of our surrounding communities we invite you to participate where you are! Our walk will help us follow one of the golden rules for kidney health – ‘keep fit and active’. To connect us ‘virtually’ on this walk we will be using a social media Twitter account to ‘tweet’ our participation to help raise awareness. Please send us details and pictures of your walk, or your feet on your walk, as individuals or as a group, to be included in our Regional Kidney Care Program social media.
