Week long event starting on world kidney day at 9am on the Island of Savaii in Samoa with an official government opening and then 2 days of a screening program with educational talks throughout rural Samoa before returning to the main island of Upolu for a Sunday church service celebrating WKD and then a further 3 days Mon 18th – Weds 20th of health promotion talks on the TV and radio with screening programmes within urban areas and then finishing on Thursday 21st with a staff and patient open day with health promotion activities and sharing from dialysis patients and families in a carnival like event at the NKFS premises in Apia.
