As a part of our program related to Kidney Health, Detection & Prevention, we are planning to develop at WKD different activities related to Nutrition and Prevention of Kidney Disease, focusing in the Metabolic Syndrome. It will be participation of Nephrology nurses, Nutrition Department and Primary Health Care Centres of our community. The program include lectures, posters presentation; hypertension, proteinuria, and hyperglicemia screening; and distribution of informative flyers about “Healthy diet for preventing kidney diseases”.
