Mesure of Time is a documentary film that wants to recount, for the first time, life on dialysis, life in the grip of a chronic illness, one that can be treated but cannot be cured. In the form of a chronicle, over the course of dialysis treatments this film will introduce us to Melissa, Siham Anne-Sophie, Frederic undergoing dialysis while waiting for a kidney transplant. Here, dialysis is approached in an immersive and sensitive way by giving time to people to reveal with humanity, in the presence of their body and using their words, all the complexity of a life in which there is no question of a cure, but that of accepting to live differently. Through the exchanges between the people on dialysis and the director, himself on dialysis, this film bears witness to a unique and precious relationship that is created with time and with the illness. The suffering, hope and solitude of each person in the face of destiny tell the universal story of this struggle and the urgency of life in the face of passing time.
