We hope to sensitize the public that kidney diseases are common, harmful and treatable. We intend to carry out the sensitization through television and radio interviews, public lectures, newspaper articles, banners and T-shirts.
World Kidney Day Launch to be held on Monday 10th March 2014 at Kenyatta National Hospital beginning at 0900hrs and ending at1030hrs.
We will offer six transplants for needy patient at Kenyatta National Hospital .
We will offer free screening for Hypertension and Diabetes which are the two commonest courses of Kidney failure worldwide on Monday to Thursday at Kenyatta national Hospital and Uhuru Park grounds.
Individuals identified at increased risk will be given free medical advice and referred for follow up treatment at appropriate health institutions.
