The new association Nordverbund Niere – “Save the Kidney“ e.V. (www.savethekidney.de) and especially Prof. Dr. Nicole Endlich of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University Medicine in Greifswald, would like to invite people who are interested in the development of kidney disease as well as kidney research.
This day will start with lectures for primary and upper school children, followed by presentations for patients and families interested in this topic. Afterwards, a reception will be held with special guests like the mayor of Greifswald, the Vice-Rector and a member of the German Bundestag / German Federal Parliament. We hope to highlight the kidney, the forgotten organ, more prominently.
