To commemorate World Kidney Day 2024, the Department of Paediatric Nephrology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, India organized a camp on “Childhood Kidney Health, focusing the theme “Kidney Health for All – Advancing equitable Access to Care and optimal medication practice” on 30th March 2024. An awareness skit program insisting on the golden rules to protect the kidneys, interactive sessions for parents, and activities for kids focusing on fitness were done. Few parents wondered about childhood kidney diseases as they weren’t aware of renal diseases in early childhood. We focused the interaction on preventive aspects of kidney diseases.
