Objectives High risk factors diabetes & hypertension; encourage screening;
teach preventative behaviors; recommend early pro active approach with primary care physician – for any red flags that could indicate high risk for kidney disease. Specifically what lab values to inquire about; blood pressure readings; diet; family history. Stages of CKD. Options – ESRD / PD / Home HD . Organ donation and transplantation; optimal health to give and receive a kidney.
