World Kidney Day 2017 was celebrated with great fervor at Clifton Kidney & General Hospital. Adolescent children and adults were part of a free medical camp. A walk for a cause was followed by awareness sessions on World Kidney Day 2017 theme “Kidney Disease and Obesity”.
The awareness session was presented by nephrologists, cardiologists and nutritionists to educate the audience about the link of obesity with kidney disease. Lab tests including BMI, Bone Marrow Density (BMD), Blood Sugar, Cholestrol and Serum Creatinine were performed.
