World Kidney Day 2016 in Thailand by the Nephrology Society of Thailand, theme of “Kidney disease & Children Act early to prevent it” The event will be in a shopping center “Central world” in the central area of Bangkok, Thailand. We expect 1,000 people come. The activities are cooking demonstration of low salt menu by celebrity chef, food reformulation exhibition and food labeling education booth, medical screening for kidney disease including blood pressure, serum creatinine measurement and urinalysis, talks and seminar on the prevention of kidney diseases, campaigning for organ donation, dancing competition for pre-high school student, debating competition for high school student and mini-concert from popular Thai artists. The mass media campaigns for CKD prevention is interview and press meeting on public national and cable television and radio.
