Clifton Kidney & General Hospital celebrated world kidney day 2015. The world kidney day is held on 2nd Thursday of each year. The dignitaries present at the day were Consulate General of Peoples Republic of China- His Excellency Mr. Ma Yao, Vice Consul- General of Peoples Republic of China- Mr. Gao Yanhua, Consulate General France- His Excellency Mr. Francois DALL”ORSO,Consulate General of Switzerland- His Excellency Mr. Emil Wyss, Comissioner Karachi – Mr. Shoib Siddiqui, & President Arts Council, Mr. Ahmed Shah. The specialist consultants present were Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Yazdani (Nephrologist), Dr. Shahnawaz (Urologist), Dr. Zeeshan (Diabetologist) & Dr. Zia. The day started with a walk for a cause. Followed by public awareness sessions held by the specialists. A free medical camp was set up to check blood pressure, Urine D.R. & Ultrasound. People from all walks of life attended the World Kidney Day Celebrations.
