A walk followed by health awareness program and free medical camp was organized at the Clifton Kidney and Dialysis Centre (CKDC), Old Clifton, Karachi on Thursday, March 13th, 2014 to commemorate the World Kidney Day.
Clifton Kidney & Dialysis Centre offers free HemoDialysis and medical treatment under the umbrella of Welfare Society of Patient Care (WSPC)
The wall outside was decorated colorfully sporting the 2014 Global Kidney Day slogan on Aging & Chronic Kidney Disease.
On this day, free camp was organized to conduct blood test and ultrasounds of the kidneys, with free urine tests as well. Free consultation on diet and medical therapy was provided by a panel of eminent specialist consultants, for all participants
A lecture for Public Awareness was also conducted by Prof (Dr.) Ishrat Saleem, Prof (Dr.) Manohar Lal, Dr. Zeeshan and Dr. Imtiaz Ali.
The World Kidney Day celebrations turned out to be successful & useful to the public. Many people attended the free medical camp.
