For World Kidney Day (14, March) and within the awareness campaign ‘Home dialysis – life without limits’ (www.dializadomowa.pl), ‘Take care of your kidneys. You only have two for your lifetime’ events are being planned in selected hospitals in Poland. The events are dedicated to patients with CKD, as well as people suffering from other diseases, in which CKD may occur, their families, caregivers, and relatives. During the events, educational supplies and bottles of water will be distributed by students of medical courses.
What is more within the campaign the educational spot ‘Take care of your kidneys. You only have two for your lifetime’ was produced. It is related to main issues about the kidneys, their role or health problems. The spot is available to patients and general public on www.dializadomowa.pl
