To show support and to mark the WKD day, St. Nicholas Hospital (SNH), Lagos hosted a Health seminar and offered free screenings to participants. Prior to the seminar, SNH engaged in a one week long in-house awareness campaign which included Social Media campaign, and an in- house information session (for staff and visiting patients).
SNH WKD ACTIVITIES FOR March 13, 2014:
1. Radio Programme on chronic kidney disease and Ageing by SNH’s lead nephrologists who is also President of the Nigeria Association of Nephrology (NAN). The specialist also answered questions from callers.
2. SNH hosted a health seminar and free kidney health screening was offered to over 500 participants
4. The Clinical team from SNH visited a rural elderly people’s home for free screening and education
