A screening camp was conducted for the staff of a shopping mall at Velacherry, Chennai. 111 individuals above 30 years of age were screened in the programme. 15% individuals were found to have BMI>25, 28% had BP>120/80, 1% urine with glucose ≥1+ and 13% had urine protein ≥ 1+.
