Peace Bridge Illumination for World Kidney Day

The Peace Bridge will be illuminated in yellow, blue and green on from sunset on Thursday, March 14, 2024 until sunrise the following day in honor of World Kidney Day. The Peace Bridge is located near the center of downtown Buffalo, New York, United States of America and Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, where it crosses the Niagara River.

The Kidney Foundation of Western New York requested the illumination as part of our ongoing effort to increase awareness of kidney disease, preventative steps, disease detection and effective treatment. For people with kidney disease, our role includes patient support and advocacy, offering information on health care options, and assisting with emergency financial, nutritional or transportation needs.
