In conjunction with World Kidney Day, “Love Life Love Your Kidneys” is an event targeted at raising awareness of kidney diseases and its prevention, particularly focusing on Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), a home-based treatment. PD allows kidney patients to have more flexibility and a better quality of life as they need not fit their lives around scheduled visits to the dialysis centre. Join in the exciting “Carry It for PD Patients” race by carrying a 2 litre-water bag around your waist and learn more about PD patients through various activities. There will also be a Children’s Art Competition. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled time. Don’t forget to leave your wishes for NKF at our NKF50 pledge board as well!
The event will take place on the 14th & 15th of March 2015 from 12pm to 6pm.
