To celebrate and raise awareness around these issues, World Kidney Day and Taskforce on Women & NCDs are developing a joint statement to collate key evidence on the burden of kidney disease in women, identify the ways in which kidney health most significantly impacts women’s health and make recommendations on how these may be addressed through targeted health policies.
The statement will be released at the Kidneys and Women’s Health Round Table hosted by The George Institute for Global Health on March 7, 2018 in New Delhi in collaboration with Taskforce on Women & NCDs, the International Society of Nephrology and Arogya World.
The round table discussion will invite some key experts on kidney and women’s health to share their views and inputs on data, research and policy recommendations from the statements.
