Kidney Support Network: Walkathon “Walking Together For Kidney Health & Hope”

Kidney Support Network is celebrating WKD 2024 with the world by organizing events on 14th and 17th of March 2024.

Event Description:

Activity : Show your Kidney Challenge for CKD Patients and Healthcare Professionals

CKD Patients and Healthcare Professionals will come together to participate in the Show your Kidney challenge. A selfie contest to show healthy kidney habits will also be conducted and winners will be awarded. Fun filled activities and games will follow.

Date: 17 March 2024

Activities :

1. 5K Walkathon with Patients, Patient’s Families, Doctors, Healthcare Professionals and many others.

2. Zumba Session for all participants

3. Kidney Education Session

4. Q&A sessions spearheaded by India’s premier Nephrologist, Dr. Vijay Kher.

The 5km walkathon and the other activities are aimed at raising awareness around Kidney Disease, Kidney Failure and Kidney Transplant and Disease Prevention. Health enthusiasts, fellow kidney failure patients, patients on dialysis, patient with kidney transplant, their family members, treating doctors, dialysis technicians and nurses participating from across Delhi NCR.

It’s an opportunity to foster awareness about kidney health while promoting an active lifestyle and also emphasizes on the importance of staying positive and hopeful, enjoying life.

About Organizer:

“Kidney Support Network” is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by kidney disease. It supports kidney failure patients through various activities which include supporting the patients in their treatment journey, spreading awareness through various IEC mediums and bringing hope for better future. By participating in this walkathon, we contribute to a sense of hope and solidarity within the kidney health community.
