Aiming to pay tribute to the language martyrs(21st February,1952) in marking the World Mother Language Day-2019 in a different way, the non-profit organization Kidney Awareness Monitoring and Prevention Society (KAMPS) arranged the day-long FREE MEDICAL CAMP and health education fair at ‘Talim Ghor’, Hatibandha village, Shakhipur Thana in Tangail. KAMPS has arranged this program in continuation of the last 15 years on the same day and same venue with an aim to provide healthcare and humanitarian support to the poor and ultra poor patients in Tangail and adjacent areas. Patients inviting to have enrolled completing necessary lab tests at the temporary lab of KAMPS set up at ‘Talim Ghar’ from the 10 days before the camp. The enlisted patients will be treated by a team of 35-40 member expert Doctors, technicians and will be distributed with necessary medicines free of cost. As part of the daylong free medical camp, a seminar styled “Healthy Kidney for all and everywhere” will be held at the camp premises. Member of Parliament (MP) of Tangail-8 Constituency, Advocate Joaherul Islam (VP Joaher) attend as chief guest while Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Tangail District, Md. Shahidul Islam presided over the seminar. Founder and President of KAMPS, also Chief Consultant of the Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, Professor Dr. MA Samad will be presented keynote paper in the seminar. Renowned Business personality, social worker and Chairman of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, will formally inaugurate the medical camp early on the day. Hope at least 3000 poor patients may receive free health consultancy, medicine and laboratory tests from specialist Doctors in a free medical camp, organized by voluntary organization KAMPS.
