On March 12, 2020, six experts in nephrology gave online educational lectures on the official website of Health Times. Several topics have been covered, such as healthy lifestyle including physical activities and healthy diet; how to control diabetes and blood pressure in CKD; treating complications such as uremia and cardiovascular disease in patients with advanced kidney disease. Experts called on the public to recognize that early detection and prevention of CKD is an urgent issue and need to be addressed immediately. During the two and a half hours’ online education, more than 71,000 people participated online and brought up more than 290 questions.
