Christ the Redeemer, high on Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro, the registered trademark of Brazil and one of the world’s most beloved attractions will be specially illuminated with Red and Blue colors during the World Kidney Day’s celebration, in order to promote information about proactive ways to reduce kidney disease’s risks.
Beyond an incomparable 360 degree view of the city at sunset, during Christ’s enlightenment people also had opportunity to delight watching a small recital of classical music, so gorgeous, often leaving them breathless ………that will be stamped in their mind for a lifetime !
We hope this inspiring symbol encourages Brazilians to protect their kidneys and prevent damage by educating themselves about kidneys and kidney disease’s prevention.
