Kidney disease is impacting an increasing number of Malaysians each year and is currently a growing world health issue. There are however several easy ways to reduce the risk of kidney disease. On World Kidney Day we call on everyone to check if they are at risk of kidney disease and encourage preventative behaviours.
World Kidney Day’s mission aims to raise awareness of the important role our kidneys play to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
