Awareness programme on prevention of kidney disease was conducted for the staff and students of Good Shepherd International School, Ooty, Nilgiri District on 1st March 2014. Mrs Rajalakshmi Ravi, Head – Awareness and Prevention, TANKER Foundation, made a power-point presentation to a gathering of over 600 people. Dr. Georgi Abraham, Founder Trustee, TANKER Foundation chaired the Question & Answer session. It was conducted with the aim of creating awareness about early detection and the preventive measure to students through the teachers.Educative materials were distributed.
