Our Institute offers students from Grade 9 to 12 an opportunity to participate in scientific research projects at our campus, where our institute has established the necessary infrastructure to undertake good quality research with best-in-class equipment. The name of the event is ANVESHANA where the School students presented their research project work using a poster designed by them. In the current project, students did a literature survey to learn more about types of kidney stones, mechanism of formation, chemical components of kidney stones, cause and treatment for kidney stone diseases, etc. Later, the students collected two different kidney stones from the health care centre and analysed the chemical composition of the kidney stones using Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy (FTIR). The data collected from the FTIR spectrum help students to suggest to the patients about their diet plan. Name of the Students involved in this project: Chinmaya, Viswajit, Samanyu and Varnika (Grade 10 students). Mentor of this project: Dr S. Athavan Alias Anand.
