A 640km cyclathon was held to celebrate World Kidney Day 2017. A total of 50 cyclist from different background and age were flagged-off on 13 March 2017 from Kangar, Perlis. The eldest cyclist aged 68 years old. The cyclathon had a total of 15 pit stop at venues such as public hospital, schools and rural villages. The cyclist gave public health talks and collected more than 1,000 signatures on the giant banner that they carried along.
The cyclathon ended at the Putrajaya Botanic Garden on 18 March 2017. The event was graced by the Deputy Health Minister of Malaysia. Other activities held at the Botanic garden were Fun Run And Fun Walk, free health screening, Zumba dance and children colouring contest.
