An event in the university to promote the importance of good blood pressure control especially for those of African or Caribbean heritage. We are organising blood pressure checks for staff and students, providing resources on blood pressure, nutrition and exercise, running ‘Afrobeats’ interactive sessions and hearing from those who have experience of high blood pressure and kidney disease. We are working with the organisation called GOLD (Gift of Living Donation) who has the vision to transform lives by increasing the number of living kidney donors.
