On World Kidney Day 2022, Kidney Foundation Hospital and Research Institute arranged a seminar on different aspects of Kidney Diseases to raise awareness among general people. Seminar was attended by National Professor Dr. Mahmud Hasan, President, BMDC, Prof Dr. A.B.M Khurshid Alam, DG of DGHS, Bangladesh and Prof A.F.M Ruhal Haque, MP, Former Minister of Health and Family Welfare and other dignitaries. Before seminar there was a rally participated by doctors and patients of the Hospital. It published a bangla book on World Kidney Day and a leaflet on ‘Are your kidneys healthy?’ with ‘World Kidney Day’s 8 Golden Rules of Prevention of Kidney Disease’.
Two documentary films has been shown on Renal transplantation and Haemodialysis to disseminate the knowledge of renal replacement therapy and how patients are living their life afterwards.
Professor Harun Ur Rashid, chairman of Kidney Foundation emphasized on preventing kidney diseases thereby highlighted on 8 golden rules for prevention of kidney diseases.
