World Kidney Day 2021 was celebrated at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) on March 11, 2021. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Nephrology, IGMC Shimla and the Society for Kidney Care. Prof. Sanjay Vikrant gave a talk on the theme of this year: “Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere – Living Well with Kidney Disease”.It was attended by the faculty and residents, paramedical staff of the hospital, dialysis & nursing staff and students of the department.
