World Kidney Day 2020 was celebrated at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) on Thursday (March 12, 2020). The event was jointly organized by the Department of Nephrology, IGMC Shimla and the Society for Kidney Care. Dr. Sanjay Vikrant, Professor & Head, Department of Nephrology gave a talk on the theme of this year: Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere – from Prevention to Detection and Equitable Access to Care

On this occasion Prof. Mukand Lal, Principal IGMC Shimla was the Chief Guest. It was attended by the faculty and residents, paramedical staff of the hospital, dialysis & nursing staff and students of the department. A poster competition was organized for the students of B. Sc. Renal Dialysis Technology.
