In celebration of World Kidney Day 2025, our team consisting of 10 Year Level 2 medical students from
Xavier University Jose P. Rizal School of Medicine, are holding a mural painting for a cause.
The event will be held on March 16, 2025 along our university's perimeter wall on Hayes street. Our overall
advocacy is entitled Ur-Ine Control: Understand, Prevent, & Overcome UTI. We have invited teams of artists
to showcase their talents in a fundraising contest, where donations will go towards our local orphanage
in the form of hygiene kits so that the children, too, can protect themselves from
urinary tract illnesses such as cystitis and pyelonephritis.
