In conjunction with World Kidney Day 2022 happening on 10th March 2022, TTSH Department of Renal Medicine has engaged and educated the public, our patients and caregivers through sharings on relevant topics by our nurses and Allied Health Professionals. These topics range from nutrition, exercises to keep fit and healthy, and medication in relation to renal heath. In line with the theme of encouraging “Kidney Health for All”, members of the public were invited to join the session as well, which took the form of a Zoom webinar conducted virtually.
In addition to the main webinar that happened on 10th March 2022, fringe activities were also organised in the lead-up to the event to boost awareness of World Kidney Day while also sharing knowledge on kidney health. These fringe activities comprised of a Crossword Challenge and Hashtag Challenge on Facebook and Instagram respectively.
