Plan of WKD 2021 activities:
– the campaign will take place from 1st till 12th of March 2021
– 1000 leaflets containing WKD logo and campaign key messages will be printed and distributed to all nephrology and dialysis departments throughout the country
– 100 posters will be printed and distributed to all nephrology and dialysis departments throughout Croatia
– Well known Croatian sportsmen and publicists will be active participants in the WKD campaign
– the campaign will be promoted though social media (videos will be posted on Facebook, Instagram and You tube)
– internet website and Facebook and Instagram accounts will be designed especially for WKD
– Facebook group with the name “Community of patients with kidney disease” will be formed
– “call center” for all questions about kidney diseases will be organized (working days 3rd till 10th of March from 15 to 19 h every day)
– online panels for patients and media will be organized on the 11th of March with live broadcast via You tube and social networks. The participants will be nephrologists, patients, psychologist / psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, nutritionist and a pediatrician
– Symposium “Living well with kidney disease” will be held on the 12th March 2021.
