On 2022 World Kidney Day, Turkish Kidney Foundation has decided to focus on three major and prominent issues with 2022 main theme of “Kidney Health For All”. Prior to campaign designation, a comprehensive survey was conducted to point out what the main “knowledge gaps” regarding kidney health occured in Turkish society. According to survey results, three issues were adopted:
– Regular annual kidney health check
– Stop using over the counter painkillers without physician recommendation
– Schedule physician appointment for kidney check 3-6 months after COVID-19 if you were infected.
