Participants in the discussion will include Mareks, Agris, and Linda—individuals who have experienced kidney health issues—as well as the President of the Latvian Nephrology Association, Dr. Ieva Ziediņa, a nephrologist at P. Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital and an associate professor at Rīga Stradiņš University. The discussion will be moderated by Matīss Kārlis Ļitvins, a third-year medical student at RSU.

Kidney diseases often develop silently, without noticeable symptoms in their early stages. Therefore, maintaining kidney health is crucial—not only through a balanced diet and an active lifestyle but also through regular medical check-ups. It is recommended that every adult undergo kidney function tests at least once a year, including:
