22 kidney donors from across North America representing Kidney Donors Athletes (KDA) climbed the top of the tallest freestanding mountain in the world, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, to mark World Kidney Day 2022. The purpose of this initiative was to raise awareness about living kidney donation, demonstrate what is possible post-donation, and educate people about the experience of living donation.
